Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sales team, expanding client relationships.

  • Oversee product dispatch, ensuring efficient operations.

  • Proactively identify and engage potential clients for sales growth.

  • Sell diverse products and services across various industries.

  • Precisely process orders, maintain data control sheets, and track orders.

  • Confirm pricing agreements, address customer complaints effectively.

  • Assist with administrative tasks and coordinate with the warehouse.

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Actively grow the customer base, identifying new sales opportunities.

  • Implement the agreed retail sales strategy and support the External Sales team.

  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues, and meet SLAs.

  • Prepare quotations, process delivery notes, and ensure SLA deliveries.

  • Collaborate closely with internal departments for seamless execution.

  • Attend product training sessions to stay updated on brands and products.

  • Update stock reports, backorders, and orders received daily.

  • Work within the company-targeted budget for revenue and marketing.

 

Qualifications:

  • Matric qualification, valid driver’s license.

  • Minimum 5 years proven work experience in sales.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with excellent communication skills.

  • Resourcefulness and proactive problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.

  • Customer-service-oriented attitude.

  • Distribution experience advantageous.

  • Understanding and/or experience in the IT infrastructure.

  • Experience preparing and presenting quotations.

  • A tertiary qualification in Sales, Business Management, or IT is advantageous.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level.

  • Proven sales skills/ability.
